Proven Heritage, Japanese Craftsmanship
Forged in precision. Built to last.
Helix springs are made in partnership with Swift, Japan’s premier performance spring manufacturer. Originally founded in Tokyo in 1924 and reborn in 1997 as Swift Springs, the company brings nearly a century of metallurgy expertise and racing pedigree. Every Helix spring is produced in Swift’s own Japanese factory — not outsourced — under strict quality control and exacting production techniques. The result is uncompromising precision, consistency, and strength, straight from the source.
Metallurgy at the Core
It’s not just steel — it’s engineered alloy.
What sets Helix apart is the material science behind the ride. At the heart of every spring is a proprietary high-tensile alloy developed by Swift through years of research and lab testing: HS5.TW. This metal resists deformation under extreme forces, returns energy with speed, and maintains its performance in all conditions — from dusty Kootenay downhills to winter laps in Squamish. Unlike generic coil springs, our material was designed specifically for responsive motion under load — and it shows.
Built for Accuracy. Designed for Longevity.
±2% rate tolerance. Minimal sag. Real-world control.
Each Helix spring is wound with zero memory manufacturing — a method that reduces internal stress and ensures the spring performs the same on Day 100 as it did on Day 1. Where most MTB coil springs can vary 5–11% from their rated value, Helix is guaranteed to stay within ±1%, giving you consistent sag, repeatable tuning, and reliable suspension feel. Combined with extended usable stroke and high coil-bind resistance, these springs deliver a more refined, more predictable ride.
Trusted by the Fastest. Now Built for You.
Proven in the world’s most brutal racing series.
Before entering the MTB world, Swift’s springs earned their reputation in motorsport’s most demanding events — including Le Mans 24H, Nürburgring 24H, Super GT, D1GP, F3, Formula Toyota, and dirt/asphalt circle track racing. Their alloy and process were battle-tested at the highest level of performance, heat, speed, and fatigue. With Helix, that same racing-grade precision is now available to mountain bikers — built for the trail, not just the track.
